Bill Wimmer boasts a remarkable 50-year career with Union Pacific Railroad and Chicago & Northwestern Railway. In 2007, he was honored as Railroader of the Year. As Vice President of Engineering at UPRR, he held a pivotal role, overseeing diverse aspects of the engineering process, from design and construction to maintenance, signals, track programs, and structures.
